Another year, another adventure, and what an adventure this year was.

It was exceptionally challenging to realise the event this summer, after finishing it we were all left with sense of joy and almost a disbelief we managed to pull it off. Legislations were really hard on us, but the support of everyone kept us charged to push on through and we are grateful for it beyond words.

These are the moments that define us as people and our culture, we grow only stronger through such challenges. Very special special thanks go to Fuj and Igor Bergam (and his bar crew) for putting tremendous effort just like Chris Newton-Goverderd, who have been amazing support. This was one of the special experiences and we can not express the gratitude for the support we have received from all, artists, audience, volunteers & location management (Pozitivan ritam) + Seasplash Festival soundsystem crew Dr Obi and Luka Bosnjak for their tireless work to keep the vibes going. We are all looking forward to the next edition already and can not wait to welcome you back to share these amazing fam vibes,

For those who are unfamiliar Black Knight is presumably an artificial satellite of extraterrestrial origin that has orbited Earth for approximately 13,000 years; the “satellite” story is most likely a conflation of several disconnected stories about various objects and their interpretations.
In the Zohar, the Leviathan is a metaphor for enlightenment. The Zohar remarks that the legend of the righteous eating the skin of the leviathan at the end of the days is not literal, and merely a metaphor for enlightenment

We are planning to put together a two day ‘mini-festival’ event on 7th – 8th of August with one stage, in our beautiful new spot Martinska. Donations are welcome and will be a life line to help support the core costs of the fest. Due to the capacity limitations, anyone who donates 30€ (or more) will get a 2 day pass, which includes free camping on the festival grounds. All donations will go towards the realisation of this year’s event and support next year’s plans. We thank all of you in advance and can’t wait to experience again what we started 5 years ago. Pure magic, family style.After quite some agonising thinking and waiting to see where the current situation would lead us, we received the news that Croatian government decided to give a permit to smaller scale open air events (up to 1000 people) from July. In accordance with this, City council of Sibenik also decided to give a green light to all organisers on Martinska to proceed with limited capacity events. After some deliberation when receiving this news and following the current developments we feel in many ways morally obliged and challenged to keep acting positively in these trying times.This is a daring decision for us but we believe it is a positive one that is grounded on developments and recommendations of the authorities. Our intention is to help us all feel more elevated as a community, and move ahead charged with hope and unity. Having said this, to be able to realise this event we will still need your support, we believe that the best way to go about it is through donations so we can cover the running expenses and to create the best possible experience we can within these circumstances.Everyone who bought the ticket for this year’s festival will automatically have them valid for this small event and next year’s festival.. We do understand that times are hard on everyone and if you would like a refund, please get in touch with us after you receive an email from us in the coming days. We have frozen these assets in case you opt for a refund and whatever left will be used for next year’s realisation of the festival as usual.One Love

~ Where underground goes to the sunshine ~4 days and 3 nights of earthshaking BASS!
Taking it back to the roots Membrain Festival is a place where all different (sub)cultures meet, where current trends and the coming ones are supported, where various aspects of urban culture and all kinds of creative ideas can find fruition and where everyone is treated like a family.
Our goal is not only to bring established DJ’s but to also support talent, we are creating a fertile ground for young and aspiring creatives to have a springboard, supporting them with giving them a chance to show off their skills.
We’re coming back to Minerska Beach in Sibenik to a disused military base on the beach, it is very much reminiscent of many ‘underground’ venues while at the same time it is surrounded by a relaxing Mediterranean environment, this makes it ideal place where different cultures can have an exchange in a way like no other place offers.
